Tea Party

After doing a little bit of running around, I decided to go spend the rest of the day with my sister and my nieces. When Auntie Precious comes around, there will will almost ALWAYS be a mini photo shoot. This is my niece Lia. Lia is two years old and she is full of personality that surpasses her mere two years. When I arrived, Lia was napping and when she awoke and saw me with my camera, she got excited for the fun that she knew was sure to come. This time around, I let HER dictate how the shoot would go. I let her pick out her own clothes and her own props. I let HER set the scene. Although I edited the scene a little bit, by coaxing her cell phone away from her (a feat in itself)... This was all her doing. This is why I prefer to shoot children, their vivid imaginations make my job SO much easier.
